This tool cannot fetch transcripts yet

Unlike the other three free tools, transcript extraction genuinely cannot run in your browser. YouTube's caption endpoints send no Access-Control-Allow-Origin header, so the browser's same-origin policy blocks the request before it ever leaves this page. It needs a server to make the request on your behalf, and this build has no backend transcript service connected.

Rather than showing a fake spinner and inventing a transcript, the tool tells you the truth: no transcript will be returned until the transcript service is wired up. The form below is the real interface it will use.

URL parsing works locally, so the video is identified even though its captions cannot be fetched.
